Moorhayes is located 20 minutes or so from the M6 or about 15 minutes from the M56. Manchester International Airport takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day.
There is tranquil farmland of the Cheshire Plain to the west, dramatic rugged hills of the peak District National Park to the east, the Potteries to the south and Manchester to the north. Many historic houses and gardens are within a short drive.
The nearest public house serving food is two minutes walk away, or there is much more choice in Macclesfield town, 15 minutes walk away (on a bus route).
